I am a Daughter of the Most High

The House of Prayer changed my life. In 2017, I was a young college student at Michigan State struggling to find real friendship on a massive campus. As my Instagram followers grew, I shrunk feeling smaller and less than these people I barely knew. I tagged along with different groups of people, but I didn't have a place to belong, a place where I was fully free.

Little did I know that I would be blessed beyond my wants with not only a ministry full of friends but even more: the greatest, most authentic and loving family one could not dream up alone. It was so beyond what I could fathom, but God saw me. He saw me wandering, and even before coming to Him and consistently asking for community, He saw His child and quickly responded. His love poured out at the House of Prayer like I had never seen before.

I'll never forget the first Monday night meeting I went to: I fell onto my knees for the first time and just listened to the voice of the Father, as I heard Him speak so clearly for the first time, "Meredith, you are a cup. You won't remain just filled. You will overflow." Instant shift.

For the past two years, I have walked alongside the wildest, biggest-dreamin', most committed bros and sisters who the Father has used to speak truthful identity over me. No longer do I need to remain a fearful, boxed in Christian, but a confident, truth-declaring daughter who found the Father's faithfulness in a small, kingdom-filled room in East Lansing, MI.
